Marketing Manager
Collector Systems, LLC., New York, NY, United States
About Collector Systems
Collector Systems builds specialized collections management software for museums, cultural institutions, and private collectors worldwide. Our clients range from major museum networks and corporate art programs to significant private collections managed by family offices, art advisors, and estate professionals.
We operate in a focused, relationship-driven market and are trusted by leading specialists across the art world. We are profitable, stable, and growing, and we are now reshaping our marketing function to match the next phase of that growth.
The role We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to step into a reformulated version of this position, one with a broader scope, greater ownership, and a mandate to build on existing momentum across two distinct segments: the institutional market (museums, foundations, corporations) and the private market (high-net-worth collectors, family offices, art advisors, and estate professionals).
You will work directly with company leadership on strategy and own the full execution across content, events, partner marketing, and creative production. This is a role for someone who wants meaningful autonomy, not a defined lane, and who can move fluidly between writing a case study, coordinating a trade show, and producing a polished piece of collateral in Adobe Creative Suite without routing everything through an outside designer.
What you will own Creative production
Produce trade show materials, one-pagers, social graphics, and sales collateral using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Maintain brand consistency across all marketing touchpoints without relying on outside designers for routine production work
Adapt and resize assets across formats for print, digital, and social use
Content and digital presence
Develop and execute an SEO-driven content strategy targeting institutional and private collector audiences
Build and maintain the company LinkedIn presence, including thought leadership content and job postings
Write case studies, buyer guides, and comparison content that communicates our value against competitors
Oversee website content updates in coordination with the technical team
Events and trade shows
Coordinate Collector Systems participation in museum industry conferences (regional, state, and national)
Identify and evaluate new conference opportunities in the family office and art advisor space
Own pre-show outreach, on-site presence logistics, and post-show follow-up sequences
Partner and referral marketing
Formalize referral relationships with insurance and auction house partners into a structured program
Develop co-branded materials and landing pages for key referral partners
Build and maintain an outreach program targeting art advisors, appraisers, and estate planning professionals
Sales enablement
Create and maintain pitch materials, one-pagers, and competitive positioning documents
Build email nurture sequences to move prospects from initial interest to demo
Track and report on lead sources, conversion rates, and marketing ROI
What we are looking for Required
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) sufficient to produce print and digital marketing materials independently
3–5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, professional services, or a luxury or cultural industry
Strong writing ability across registers, from professional institutional audiences to high-net-worth individuals
Hands-on experience with content marketing, SEO, and email marketing tools
Comfort with long sales cycles and relationship-driven markets where volume is low and deal value is high
Ability to work independently across strategy and execution, comfortable owning projects from concept through final production
Strongly preferred
Familiarity with the art world, museum sector, or high-net-worth markets
Experience at a small or early-stage company where you were the primary or sole marketer
Working knowledge of LinkedIn B2B marketing and HubSpot or equivalent CRM
Experience supporting or attending industry trade shows and conferences
Compensation and benefits
Salary: $80,000–$95,000, commensurate with experience
Health, dental, and vision insurance
Hybrid schedule based in New York, NY, with flexibility for remote work
Direct exposure to company leadership and meaningful input into growth strategy
