The Creative Resource Manager is the connector between requestors, the marketing team, product partners and external agencies. This role maintains the intake, prioritization, resourcing and accountability of marketing requests ensuring the right work gets done by the right people at the right time.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Request Intake & Accountability
Serve as the single point of accountability for all incoming marketing requests
Review all requests for clarity, completeness, scope and alignment to priorities; partner with requestors to improve and refine the intake process
Train internal teams and stakeholders on the request process and expectations, providing refreshers as needed
Assign work to creative, content and product management teammates based on workload, skillset and business priority
Lead ongoing prioritization and capacity conversations with sales, marketing, other internal stakeholders and leadership partners
Proactively flag risks, bottlenecks and tradeoffs and drive resolution.
Develop and articulate a long‑term resourcing strategy for the marketing team
Partner with marketing leaders to forecast demand and plan for future capacity
Delivery Oversight
Facilitate clear, consistent communication between requestors and project teams throughout the lifecycle of work and ensure deadlines are met
Maintain accurate project status and ensure stakeholders have visibility into progress and changes
Create, manage and evolve KPIs that are relevant to stakeholders
Use data and insights to identify trends, friction points and opportunities for improvement
Lead continuous improvement efforts across request types, balancing efficiency, quality and team sustainability
Ensure adherence to marketing and customer budgets, as applicable
Agency & Contractor Management
Act as the primary intake and coordination point for engaging external agencies
Identify, source and manage freelance and contract talent as capacity or expertise gaps arise
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Administration or a related field
Experience and/or Training:
5+ years of experience in creative project management
Experience with project tracking software
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Organized and deadline-driven with the ability to handle multiple priorities
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with a wide range of stakeholders, including individual contributors, senior leadership and customers
Tenacious and constructively assertive, with the confidence to enforce standards
Approachable, positive and trusted as a partner
Strong problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Exceptional attention to detail, follow‑through and accountability
Experience with packaging creation workflows
ERP system experience
Agency or agency‑like environment experience
Primarily sedentary office role with frequent computer and phone use
Occasional lifting of up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, laptops, small packages)
Travel may be required
The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between
$ 72,000
and
$80,000
annually. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:
