Director of Construction
We are seeking a Director of Construction to lead and oversee self‑perform field construction operations at the group level. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with the highest standards of quality and safety while leading and developing construction teams.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee field construction operations and ensure project profitability, schedule, quality, and safety targets are met
Lead and develop Project Directors, Project Managers, and construction staff
Support preconstruction efforts including proposals, design reviews, and project planning
Provide oversight on project scheduling, estimating, cost controls, and subcontractor management
Monitor project performance, resolve issues, and ensure successful project delivery and closeout
Act as a key liaison with clients, internal leadership, and project teams
Oversee warranty responses, risk management, and compliance with company policies
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction
Strong knowledge of construction operations, estimating, financial management, and project delivery
Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
