Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and confident Appointment Setter to make outbound cold calls to businesses and schedule appointments for licensed insurance agents. Your primary goal is to introduce our insurance services, build interest with decision‑makers, and book qualified meetings for our sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys talking with people, is comfortable making high‑volume calls, and thrives in a performance‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Make outbound cold calls to businesses from provided lead lists
Speak with business owners, HR managers, or decision‑makers
Schedule qualified appointments for insurance agents
Maintain accurate records of calls, notes, and scheduled meetings in CRM
Follow scripts while maintaining a natural conversation
Handle objections and gatekeepers professionally
Meet daily and weekly call and appointment‑setting targets
Qualifications
Strong communication and persuasion skills
Comfortable speaking with business owners and executives
Ability to handle rejection and stay motivated
Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems
Performance Expectations
800‑1500 outbound calls per day (depending on system)
Schedule a minimum number of qualified appointments weekly
Maintain accurate CRM records
Compensation
Hourly pay
Bonuses for booked and completed appointments
Commission opportunities based on performance if you get your insurance license
