Director of Business Intelligence & Advanced Analytics

Our client is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics to lead the organization’s reporting, dashboarding, and operational analytics initiatives. This role will transform data into actionable insights that support both day-to-day performance management and strategic decision-making.
You will partner closely with leaders across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Planning to standardize KPIs, improve reporting infrastructure, and drive a data-driven culture. This is a highly visible role responsible for delivering insights that directly influence business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy and development of executive dashboards and enterprise reporting frameworks.
- Standardize KPIs and reporting definitions across departments to ensure consistent performance measurement.
- Deliver automated and scalable reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy and governance.
- Analyze historical performance trends and operational metrics to identify drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to track performance against strategic targets and support business reviews.
- Develop performance scorecards and operational reporting to improve business visibility.
- Lead and mentor a team of BI and analytics professionals while establishing reporting standards and data quality practices.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to enhance data pipelines and BI tools.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or reporting.
- 4+ years leading analytics or BI teams.
- Strong expertise in SQL and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Experience building executive dashboards and operational reporting frameworks.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
