Resident Costume Designer/ Builder
Circa ’21 Dinner Playhouse, a year‑round professional dinner theatre in its 49th season, is seeking a resident Costume Designer who will be tasked with designing, building, creating, procuring, and maintaining costumes and soft goods for our nine‑show season.
They will also help maintain Circa ’21’s high level of artistic excellence by being an excellent communicator, working independently, and meeting deadlines within the allotted time, budget, and scope.
Responsibilities
Design, build, create, procure, and maintain costumes and soft goods for nine‑show season (six mainstage, three TYA productions, pre‑show entertainment, and occasional small productions).
Collaborate across departments and stay within time, budget, and scope constraints, ensuring high artistic quality.
Qualifications
At least three years of experience in theatrical design, construction, and maintenance of musical, play, and theatre productions for young audiences.
Experience with both mainstage and smaller productions (e.g., 120‑seat black box, 320‑seat semi‑thrust).
