The Prefab Associate is critical to completing the pre-fabrication of materials as required to R.T. Moore quality standards as assigned by the pre-fabrication supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Thoroughly complete the pre-fabrication of tub and tub shower valves in a manner consistent with RTMC standards ensuring all connections are leak free and valve is operational
Accurately complete testing and tagging of temporary sump pumps per prescribed methods; keep sump pumps organized and stored in designated location
Precisely measure, cut and thread black pipe to field crew’s specifications
Systematically ensure requisition of materials
Steadily complete prefabrication of other components as required
QUALIFICATIONS
A high school diploma or GED is required
No prior experience necessary, warehouse and forklift experience a plus
Proactive drive for accomplishing tasks successfully in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills necessary
Clear, effective communications skills – both written and verbal
Aptitude for prioritizing, planning, and problem-solving
Preference for accuracy, attention to detail, and organization
Can do the following activities for most of the work day: stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, see, talk and hear.
Must be able to climb or balance regularly.
Near constant lifting or carrying of items of various weight, typically up to 10 pounds most of the day. Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds on occasion.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
Primarily a physical position performing some strenuous daily activities of a physical nature
