We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented
Interior Designer
with a
minimum of 2 years of professional experience
to join our team on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that align with client needs, project requirements, and brand standards. This role requires strong design skills, space planning expertise, and the ability to manage projects from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations for residential or commercial projects.
Create space plans, layouts, and design drawings using design software.
Select and specify materials, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and finishes.
Collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, and vendors throughout the design process.
Prepare design documentation, specifications, and project schedules.
Conduct site visits to monitor project progress and ensure design intent is maintained.
Manage budgets and timelines for assigned projects.
Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and design innovations.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of professional interior design experience.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and/or Revit.
Strong space planning and conceptual design skills.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting specifications.
