Title: Bilingual English-Spanish Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist
Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bilingual English-Spanish Recruiter and Onboarding Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting, interviewing, and selecting top talent for our organization while ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires. Your ability to effectively communicate in English and Spanish will be essential in engaging with a diverse candidate pool.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
Source and identify potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks.
Conduct initial screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers.
Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions.
Manage the recruitment process, from posting job listings to making job offers.
Candidate Relationship Management:
Build and maintain relationships with candidates to create a positive candidate experience.
Provide timely feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Keep candidates informed about the status of their applications and next steps.
Ensure that all candidate information is accurately documented in the applicant tracking system.
Onboarding:
Facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new employees, including assisting with the necessary paperwork, documentation, and online procedures as needed. Visit restaurant locations to coordinate recruiting needs as needed.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure new employees have the resources and tools needed for success.
Serve as a point of contact for new hires to address questions and concerns during onboarding.
Compliance and Record-Keeping:
Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including EEO, ADA, and other relevant laws.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files.
Assist in the preparation and submission of required reports and documentation.
Reporting and Analysis:
Generate recruitment and onboarding-related reports to track key metrics and provide insights for process improvement.
Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment and onboarding processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize strong bilingual English and Spanish language skills to communicate with candidates, employees, and stakeholders effectively.
Collaborate with HR colleagues and hiring managers to align recruitment and onboarding strategies with organizational goals.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Attend department meetings at the corporate office biweekly for recruiting updates. (weekly during new openings).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. (Preferred not required).
Proven experience as a recruiter and onboarding specialist, with a strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR software.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
SHRM or HR certification is a plus.
