HRCU is a community credit union established in 1962 and is headquartered in Rochester NH. We operate branches in Dover, Farmington, Greenland, and at Spaulding High School. Our field of membership extends throughout the state of NH and York County Maine.

We are seeking a talented and collaborative Graphic Designer to help bring our brand to life across a wide range of channels and touchpoints. In this role, you will serve as a key creative partner and be responsible for creating clear, approachable, and visually compelling designs that bring HRCU’s brand across print, digital, multimedia platforms, and in-branch environments. This role supports member-first communication by producing materials that reflect HRCU’s honest, local, friendly, and smart brand personality while maintaining visual consistency across all channels. From concept development to final execution, you will collaborate closely with Marketing, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure all creative assets uphold HRCU's brand standards, typography, color palette, and messaging guidelines.

Requirements Experience:

Minimum of 3 years professional graphic design or similar experience. Financial institution or e-commerce experience a plus, but not a requirement.

Strong portfolio demonstrating concept development, brand-aligned design, and execution across digital, print, and multimedia formats.

Proficiency in industry-standard design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and familiarity with motion, video, or animation tools is a plus.

Familiarity with social media content creation and asset preparation.

Basic photo and video production skills, such as capturing simple in-house footage or photography for social media or community events (not required but a strong plus).

Education: Associate degree in Marketing, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience gathering requirements and incorporating feedback from diverse stakeholders.

Willingness to pivot and take on new initiatives.

Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
