Sales Consultant in Training
General responsibilities include proper management of an established sales territory including selling, servicing, merchandising, administration, and accounts receivable. This position is intended to train new personnel who will eventually have a sales territory. Responsibilities
Achieve sales objectives. Manage territory. Sell current and new products. Promotions, in‑store tastings, and servicing accounts. Merchandising activities such as shelf placement, maintaining cold boxes, building displays, and stocking inventories. Flexibility is key to being a successful Sales Trainee Merchandiser. Requirements
4 year BA/BS college degree or related industry experience (preferred). Prior sales experience (preferred). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Goal and results driven. Reliable transportation and proof of insurance. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Pass a pre‑employment background check. Local candidates preferred (no relocation package). Expected pay range: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity, union status (where applicable) and alignment with market data.
