EPI Power is hiring a Prefabrication Director to lead and scale prefabrication operations in support of complex electrical construction projects, including data centers. The Prefabrication Director will be responsible for developing and executing a multi‑year prefabrication strategy, overseeing shop operations, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, productivity, and cost predictability. This role partners closely with project leadership, preconstruction, supply chain, virtual design, and field operations to deliver standardized, scalable prefabrication solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

This position provides enterprise‑level leadership with direct influence on operational excellence, innovation, and long‑term growth.

What You’ll Do:

Build and execute a multi‑year prefabrication strategy aligned with company and business unit goals

Lead prefabrication shop operations including workflow design, production scheduling, workforce planning, material logistics, quality control, and safety

Standardize prefabrication processes and assemblies to drive efficiency, quality, and scalability across projects and geographies

Implement lean manufacturing principles to maximize throughput, eliminate waste, and consistently meet project schedules

Partner with operations, preconstruction, supply chain/procurement, and virtual design teams to identify prefabrication opportunities and evaluate cost and schedule impacts

Ensure seamless coordination between prefabrication deliverables and field installation sequencing to improve site efficiency and safety

Drive financial accountability for prefabrication operations, including cost control, profitability analysis, and investment recommendations

Analyze performance metrics related to efficiency, cost savings, quality, and on‑time delivery; collaborate with estimating and procurement teams to optimize ROI

Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and equipment solutions to enhance productivity, innovation, and safety

Lead, mentor, and develop direct reports; set goals, delegate responsibilities, and support professional growth

Champion company values, ethics, and a culture of continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For: Experience:

Minimum 15 years of electrical construction experience

At least 7 years of leadership experience overseeing prefabrication or manufacturing operations

Demonstrated success implementing lean manufacturing practices and scaling innovative, companywide initiatives

Proven ability to develop strategic plans, lead change management efforts, and influence cross‑functional teams

OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire

An industry‑related bachelor’s degree is required; equivalent education and experience may be considered

Skills:

Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision‑making capabilities

Excellent business acumen with the ability to evaluate cost, margin, and operational risk

Ability to lead teams through change and ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment

Strong relationship‑building, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills

Detail‑oriented with a commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement

Technology:

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Experience with project management, design, and manufacturing execution software such as Procore, Revit, Bluebeam, and scheduling tools

Ability to learn and adopt new technologies to support prefabrication and manufacturing excellence
