Arlo Hotels, an independent lifestyle hotel brand, is seeking a Sales Operations Manager based out of the HQ office to support our Manhattan portfolio. This is a portfolio‑based operational leadership role designed to strengthen execution, drive process efficiency, and standardize sales workflows across properties.

It is a hands‑on operational position responsible for improving booking accuracy, reducing process gaps, and creating structure behind the scenes so Sales leaders can remain focused on revenue generation and client relationships.

The Sales Operations Manager will partner closely with Sales, Revenue, Front Office, and Finance and will report to the Head of Sales.

The role exists to bring consistency, accountability, to how Sales executes across the Manhattan portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

Manage all 5–9 room bookings across NYC hotels

Support negotiated transient and one‑off corporate reservations

Oversee airline inventory and allocations (Midtown focus)

Support group rooming list updates after initial Sales & Service entry

Act as operational escalation point for reservation‑related issues

Corporate & Group Sales Support: Support with new NG and AMB account setup and rate loading

Track corporate production and support account reporting

Support group commission tracking and ensure alignment with Finance

Support follow‑up and tracking of Front Desk Referral & Lead Capture leads

Ensure corporate booking processes are streamlined and consistent

Coordinate W9 documentation and billing clarifications

Act as secondary operational point person for group‑related reservation issues

Support month‑end reporting preparation for Executive Leadership and Ownership

Airline Segment Oversight: Manage airline allocations and booking adjustments

Ensure rate integrity and inventory alignment

Partner with Revenue when demand shifts require adjustments

Third‑Party Reservations Oversight: Guide the third‑party reservations team

Establish clear SOPs and quality standards

Monitor response times and booking accuracy

Identify opportunities to expand this team for additional support

Serve as liaison between Sales and external reservation support

REQUIREMENTS Education

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

1–2 years of hotel sales, sales operations, or reservations experience required

College or university degree

Experience supporting corporate and group segments required

Multi‑property or portfolio experience preferred

Prior experience in a Sales Coordinator or similar commercial support role strongly preferred

Experience working in a fast‑paced, innovative, lifestyle brand is a plus, with ability to move quickly by being adaptable, proactive and ready to wear multiple hats is key to thriving

Highly organized and detail‑oriented

Knowledge

Knowledge of general hotel operations

Strong working knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS required

Experience with Delphi S&C and Lanyon preferred

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of general administrative duties

Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS, Delphi S&C, Lanyon and other hotel software systems

Familiarity with commission processes and rate loading procedures

Salary: $85,000 - $95,000 Yearly
