Job Description General Summary:

The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day Public Relations activities for Client. Based in NYC, this role will report directly to Senior Public Relations Manager for client globally.

Responsibilities

Support the Senior Public Relations Manager in all public relations efforts – from day-to-day tasks to broader brainstorming and creating targeted PR plans/influencer strategies.

Liase with external agency partners to fulfill editorial requests and ensure the SGH PR department is running smoothly and efficiently.

PR asset development (I.e. talking points, quotes, media alerts, trend pitches, etc.).

Media list maintenance.

PR recaps.

Influencer research (ongoing).

Event support (including RSVP lists, inviting media, organizing product and displays, etc.).

Product order fulfillment (for gifting and samples).

Operational requests (communications to stores, receiving campaign assets, high res images, credit requests, shipments, messengers, etc.).

Support on product management – ordering product, managing inventory and shipping/logistics management at offsite storage.

Schedule meetings and ensure all preparations are made prior to meeting time in addition to capturing meeting notes.

Support in planning, execution and recapping of all PR and influencer activities.

Create, compile, and review excel and PowerPoint documents (i.e. recaps, campaign ideas, etc).

Coordinate communication between internal teams and external partners.

Notify store when necessary, regarding events, influencer + press visits, etc.

Assist in developing specific PR plans and activities in local markets.

Ensure accuracy of press and social results tracking, utilizing DMR and Creator IQ platforms.

Support in PR asset development, when necessary, including trend alerts and presentations.

Lead micro influencer program(s) from talent sourcing, content briefing, content approvals, and recaps as needed.

Liase with external agency partners to equip them with all necessary PR assets (press releases, photos/videos, press/influencer strategies, collect results from the agency partners to create comprehensive recaps for the brand team.

Assist in budget management as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Advertising/Marketing or Journalism preferred.

Possess excellent written, verbal and organizational communication skills.

Ability to be flexible and adapt in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment.

Possess outstanding project-management and strong follow-up skills.

Proven ability to complete time-sensitive tasks under minimal direction.

Travel TBD based on brand needs and events.

Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in fashion PR/events.
