15% domestic travel and 4% international travel required.

What you will do As a Upgrades Sales Support Specialist, you will provide pre‑sales support, solution development, and customer engagement to internal stakeholders and external customers in the food and beverage processing industry, serving clients that produce dairy products, liquid plant‑based products, ice cream mix, prepared foods, and beverages. You will be responsible for creating quotations and commercial proposals and conveying them to customers and internal stakeholders. These proposals cover a wide range of products and services, including UHT (Ultra‑High Temperature) units, pasteurizer systems, homogenizers, aseptic tanks, and Cleaning‑in‑Place (CIP) systems; tubular and plate heat exchangers; valves, pumps, regulators, pressure and temperature transmitters; machine retrofits and line modifications; software upgrades; and commissioning and field service support. You will analyze customer requirements and operational needs, perform necessary engineering calculations to ensure the proposed solution meets technical requirements, identify and select appropriate upgrade solutions, collaborate with engineering and technical teams to validate feasibility and tailor technical content, calculate pricing and commercial terms, support both internal project teams and end customers throughout the proposal phase, work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery at agreed costs, contribute to managing the lifecycle of the current Upgrades portfolio through price and margin analysis, evaluate equipment condition, obsolescence risks and customer needs, conduct site visits and gather feedback from plant operations teams, define technical scope (mechanical, electrical, automation), contribute to risk and benefit evaluation, prepare detailed upgrade proposals including technical content, commercial terms, and optional configurations, provide technical input and support documentation preparation when needed, assist in delivery of final technical documents, updated manuals, and supporting materials to the customer, develop new customized upgrade solutions based on specific customer requirements or production challenges by identifying unsolved customers’ needs and supporting the value proposition definition. This may include customized combinations of hardware and software upgrade, cost‑optimized configurations, and integration of additional functionalities based on customer feedback.
We believe you have • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Process Engineering, Food Science and Technology, or a related field, and 5 years of experience in liquid food processing equipment, including dairy and beverage.
Milk & Beverage equipment and processes including pasteurization, filtration, homogenization, carbonation, pH testing, and Brix testing.
Aseptic and hygienic processes including aseptic processing, hygienic equipment design, sterilization, Clean‑In‑Place (CIP), High‑Temperature Short Time (HTST), and Environmental Monitoring.
SAP user experience.
AutoCAD user.
Industrial automation and control systems such as Siemens or Allen‑Bradley; network communication protocols, SCADA systems basics, and HMI programming; and system integration, process control, and advanced troubleshooting.
