Why This Role Exists We are seeking a highly-detailed, passionate, and highly-motivated UX/UI Design Intern to join our team and contribute to the Beltways website and Beltways OS. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with world-class design aspirations to gain hands-on digital design experience while working on meaningful projects that directly impact our user experience. Role Responsibilities Design and prototype user interfaces for the Beltways website Assist in maintaining design consistency across all digital platforms Create hi-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for different breakpoints Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements and deliverables Conduct user research and usability testing and communicate research findings in a clear and meaningful manner to CoS Develop and maintain a comprehensive brand guideline Assistance in design-related task unrelated to the Beltways website and Beltways OS Required skills Education - Working towards a Bachelors or Masters in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or similar Visual Design Excellence - You are known for your visual design skills. Show us your eye for typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy through your portfolio Motion Design - You can use motion to create a meaningful, memorable, and engaging experience Communication Skills - Share your ability to clearly explain design decisions and translate complex concepts into ideas that are easy to understand Organization - Demonstrate your thoughtful approach to file management and design documentation Creative Thinking - We value designers who create intuitive experiences that also inspire fellow designers Design Tool Proficiency - Experience with Figma, design systems, and variable modes Initiative - You thrive in an autonomous environment and can initiate new tasks Bonus Skills - Knowledge of iOT, transportation, HTML, CSS, Webflow, 3D rendering, Procreate Outcomes Real-world experience in UX/UI design for an innovative company Opportunity to see your designs implemented in production Portfolio project that will be viewed by hundreds of thousands of people Compensation for full time employment Compensation : Interns will receive competitive hourly pay.
