What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) In this role, you will:

Strategic Sourcing & Category Management: Assist the RE/FM Category Head to fundamentally alter IRM's approach to sourcing space by marrying pragmatic category strategies to business and operational needs.

Facilities & Supplier Governance: Own the sourcing strategy and supplier governance for hard FM services (maintenance, electrical, mechanical, fire/life safety, etc.) and selected soft services (janitorial, waste, landscaping).

Operational Excellence: Establish SLAs, response standards, and KPIs to drive a shift from reactive work to planned maintenance, reducing downtime risk and cost variability.

Sustainability Integration: Embed ESG requirements into supplier selection and contracting, partnering with stakeholders to identify ROI‑backed projects such as efficiency retrofits and asset lifecycle extensions.

Capital Project Support: Provide sourcing and commercial support for construction and design‑related work, including contractor benchmarking, competitive bidding, and establishing procurement guardrails.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with contracting teams, site leads, and ESG stakeholders to ensure compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications) The ideal candidate will have:

Professional Experience: Proven experience in executing sourcing strategies, RFx processes, negotiations, and supplier evaluations to achieve cost savings and value creation.

Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to leverage technology and analytical tools to enhance category management and drive data‑driven decision‑making.

Technical Knowledge: Deep knowledge of contract drafting, review, and management within the real estate or facilities category.

Data Proficiency: Experience analyzing procurement data and reporting insights to support executive decision‑making and performance evaluation.

Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to influence regional strategy and drive adoption with site leaders through governance and scalable playbooks.
