Big Red Restaurant & Sports Bar, 8100 Cass Street, Omaha, NE, offers an excellent opportunity for keno writers in our high‑volume, full‑service restaurant & sports bar. This position will be a night shift from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers in a friendly manner
Enter keno tickets into the computer accurately
Collect money & count change
Pay winning tickets
Maintain an accurate bank
Provide great customer service and create a welcoming environment
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Must be at least 19 years old
Must be licensed for keno and pass a background check
Previous keno experience strongly preferred
High energy and stamina required
Maintain calmness and work efficiently under pressure
Prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
Strong verbal communication skills
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family and build rapport
Strong mathematical skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment Employees must talk or hear regularly. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and handling of heavy trays or tubs (up to 50 pounds). Occasional sitting, use of hands or fingers, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Sensory abilities needed include sight, taste, smell, and hearing. Noise level is moderate to loud.
