Position Overview We are seeking a mid-level Interior Designer capable of contributing to commercial projects from programming and space planning through construction administration. This role requires strong design judgement, technical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities
Develop conceptual space plans, design concepts, and presentation materials
Produce schematic design, design development, and construction documentation
Coordinate with engineers and consultants throughout all project phases
Research and specify finishes, furniture, and materials
Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA requirements
Present design concepts to clients and respond to feedback
Support construction administration activities as required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from a CIDA-accredited University or College
3–4+ years of professional commercial interior design experience
Proficiency in Revit (required), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of building systems, materials, and codes
Strong communication and organizational skills
Experience leading projects independently
Strong hand‑sketching ability
NCIDQ certification or on licensure path
Salary range: Dependent on experience
