Job Description Plans and manages the overall development and logistics of major fundraising and donor recognition events. Coordinates with vendors and ensures all event logistics are executed smoothly and within budget. Develops and implements strategic stewardship plans based on donor giving levels and potential. Manages event sponsorship agreements and ensures fulfillment of sponsor benefits. Designs and produces print and digital marketing materials for events, solicitations, communications, and stewardship. Collaborates with various directors, staff, and volunteers to attract funding and support for the Foundation. Recruits and coordinates volunteers for event support and execution. Monitors and adheres to event budgets and timelines, ensuring financial and operational goals are met. Organizes and executes donor recognition events, including annual celebrations and special recognition activities. Builds and maintains strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and volunteers. Ensures compliance with organizational brand and style standards in all event-related materials. Maintains accurate records of event activities, expenses, and outcomes.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Proficient in organizing events with attendance over 1,000 plus [Required]
Knowledge of working with vendors and arranging agreements and contracts [Required]
Familiar with good stewardship practices [Required]
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as creativity and resourcefulness [Required]
Adept with technology and software to include Raiser’s Edge, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher [Required]
Self-starter, ability to proactively anticipate needs, sense of curiosity and comfortable with change [Required]
Discretion with confidential materials [Required]
Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented team environment [Required]
Proficient in English language [Required]
Raiser’s Edge and Greater Giving [Preferred]
Education
Bachelor's [Required]
Field Of Study Special events certification
Work Experience
3+ years’ experience in the logistics of large events [Required]
5+ years directing large special event [Preferred]
