
Graphic Designer

Proper Hospitality is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our Los Angeles-based marketing team.
Position Overview This is a hands‑on role for a designer with a strong eye, sharp taste, and a portfolio that reflects thoughtful, well‑executed work across both digital and physical formats.
You’ll support creative across the Proper portfolio—working on everything from
campaign assets and social content to on‑property collateral and web design . The role requires someone who can move quickly, stay organized across a high volume of projects, and consistently deliver work that feels elevated, clean, and on brand.
We’re also looking for someone who is
actively using AI tools within their design workflow
and can show clear examples of how it improves concepting, efficiency, or output.
Key Responsibilities Design & Execution
Create and execute design assets across key channels:
email, social (organic + paid), web, display, print, and on‑property collateral
Translate briefs into clean, on‑brand creative
Support campaign rollouts across multiple properties, ensuring consistency while adapting to different brand expressions
Design for both
digital performance (conversion‑focused assets)
and
physical environments (menus, signage, event materials)
Creative Production
Work efficiently across a high volume of deliverables while maintaining strong attention to detail
Prepare files for both digital and print production, ensuring accuracy and quality
Support updates and iterations across existing templates and systems (email, paid media, web modules)
Assist in maintaining and evolving design systems across brands
AI-Driven Design Workflow
Use AI tools to support
concepting, mockups, asset generation, and workflow efficiency
Bring forward examples of how AI can enhance creative output while maintaining brand standards
Continuously test and integrate new tools to improve speed and scalability
Collaboration
Work closely with the Lead Designer, Creative Director, and marketing teams (social, CRM, growth, partnerships)
Incorporate feedback quickly and thoughtfully
Stay aligned with broader campaign and business goals
Required Qualifications
2–4 years of experience
in graphic design (agency or in‑house)
Strong portfolio showcasing
clean, well‑executed design across digital and print
Proficiency in
Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), and Canva
Demonstrated experience using
AI tools within your design process (must provide examples)
Strong understanding of
typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Experience designing for
social media and performance marketing creative
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment
Strong attention to detail and a good design instinct
Preferred Skills
Basic motion or video editing (After Effects, Premiere, or similar)
Experience with
email design (Klaviyo or similar platforms)
Familiarity with
paid social and display ad formats
Interest in or exposure to
hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or fashion brands
Experience supporting
photoshoots or creative production
Salary
$75,000-80,000
