Overview Serves as the primary transformation lead and accountable representative for the assigned business functional domain across Legacy OpCo (Merchandising, Operations, Finance) or Supply Chain Function (Procurement / D&T) within the ERP transformation. This role is responsible for aligning the assigned functional area to enterprise and functional decisions, making decisions on behalf of the area within defined guardrails, and ensuring readiness, resourcing, communication, execution alignment, and successful deployment throughout the transformation. Acts as the central conduit between the assigned functional area and the overall Business Functional Lead, embedded Org Readiness capabilities, and Data & Analytics. Partners directly with USLT-1 leaders to align leadership direction, reinforce decisions, and drive sustained engagement for the assigned functional area. This is a full‑time, dedicated role for the duration of the transformation program (estimated 5‑7 years). Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in‑person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of accountability for ERP transformation activities for the assigned functional area, including end‑to‑end ownership of deployment and rollout.
Align the assigned functional area to enterprise and functional decisions, translating direction into clear actions, commitments, and impacts across all teams within the area.
Make decisions on behalf of the assigned functional area within established governance and decision guardrails, partnering with the Business Functional Lead, Steering Committees, and USLT‑1 members for escalation and resolution as needed.
Plan, coordinate, and execute deployment and rollout activities for the assigned functional area, including readiness, cutover coordination, stabilization, and post‑go‑live support.
Coordinate and align resources within the assigned functional area, including business SMEs and contributors, to support design, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities.
Provide regular status updates, risk visibility, and readiness assessments representing the entire assigned functional area to functional leadership and program governance.
Ensure the assigned functional area is consistently informed of program decisions, progress, upcoming activities, impacts, and required actions, serving as the primary communication conduit between the program and the area.
Partner closely with embedded Org Readiness resources and Functional Leads to coordinate readiness activities, communication timing, and adoption across the assigned functional area.
Act as a key conduit between the assigned functional area and Data, Reporting, and Analytics teams to ensure data readiness, reporting needs, and analytics impacts are understood and addressed.
Partner with USLT‑1 leaders to ensure leadership alignment, issue resolution, decision reinforcement, and consistent messaging for the assigned functional area.
Coordinate business inputs and feedback from the assigned functional area to IT and the System Integrator in support of solution design, testing, and deployment.
Support value realization for the assigned functional area by ensuring adoption of new processes, successful deployment, stabilization, and tracking of realized benefits.
Lead and coordinate a network of direct and indirect contributors from the assigned functional area, ensuring clarity of expectations, timely delivery, and alignment to agreed decisions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in business process management, domain leadership, or enterprise transformation, with accountability for a functional domain in a large‑scale ERP‑enabled or enterprise technology program.
Proven success defining and operationalizing future‑state business processes, ways of working, and value realization strategies in multi‑brand, complex organizational environments.
Strong knowledge of cross‑functional process integration, interdependencies, and harmonization.
Demonstrated ability to partner with executive stakeholders, governance bodies, and functional leaders to drive enterprise process decisions and resolve conflicts.
Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working at scale.
Proven track record of delivering measurable business outcomes and sustaining value post‑implementation.
25‑50% travel required on average, with fluctuations by program phase; in‑person work will be expected across campuses as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree (MBA or related discipline).
Experience in the retail or grocery industry.
Direct experience with SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP platforms.
Salary Range ME/NC/PA/SC: $139,120 – $208,680. IL/MA/MD/NY: $160,000 – $240,000.
