Solvere Technical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Public Affairs Specialist to join our team in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities
Collaborates with CO, XO, ED, and Department Heads to maintain the command Public Affairs program;
Provides professional photography, video, and audio services;
Writes and edits articles for Navy publications;
Supports crisis communications;
Maintains command website, social media, and digital signage;
Serves on MARMC Fire Response Team (FRT)
Experience
2 yrs experience writing/editing publications (AP and U.S. Navy styles); knowledge of professional photography and digital imaging
Experience with social media, podcast production, and on-the-spot presentations
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition, Premiere)
Education
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Political Science, or English
