Smile Partners USA is seeking an experienced
Credentialing & Payer Relations Manager
to join our growing organization. This is a
full-time, fully remote position , offering the opportunity to play a critical leadership role within a fast-growing Dental Support Organization (DSO).

About the Role
The Credentialing & Payer Relations Manager will oversee provider credentialing, payer participation, and fee schedule management across multiple states and payer types. This role works closely with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Operations teams to ensure accurate claims payment, efficient credentialing processes, and strong payer relationships.
This is a highly visible role ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, enjoys leading large initiatives, and has deep experience navigating insurance networks and payer negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee provider credentialing and re-credentialing for dentists across multiple states and payer types
Partner closely with RCM and Operations to resolve claim payment discrepancies related to credentialing, participation, and fee schedules
Analyze reports and EOBs to identify credentialing or network-sharing issues
Stay current on insurance network hierarchy changes and assess operational impact
Maintain and share a centralized database of network and payer updates with offices and RCM teams
Lead large-scale projects including TIN changes and office relocations with insurance carriers
Build, document, and continuously improve workflows, procedures, and best practices
Manage and prioritize credentialing and fee schedule tasks across vendors, PMS platforms, and credentialing systems
Negotiate insurance fee schedules, track negotiation timelines, manage updates, and load new fees into the PMS
Identify opportunities to improve turnaround times, accuracy, and operational efficiency
What We’re Looking For
A strong leader who can motivate and support a team within a growing DSO
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both insurance representatives and dental office teams
Ability to assess priorities, delegate effectively, and manage competing deadlines
Deep understanding of payer network hierarchies and participation structures
Required Experience
Previous experience as a Credentialing Manager or Payer Relations Manager within a Dental Support Organization (DSO)
Proven success in insurance fee schedule negotiations
Experience with delegated credentialing strongly preferred
