Analyst – Supplier Relations

As a Analyst – Supplier Relations you will be responsible for managing the relationship with suppliers to deliver value for both the company and the supplier. You will develop relationship management plans by covering day to day tasks for a specific set of suppliers, including data mining, reporting, presentation generation & marketing efforts. Responsibilities

Assists supplier relations managers in covering day‑to‑day tasks for dedicated suppliers. Assists with BDF, rebate and other elements of supplier programs. Creates and distributes specialized monthly supplier reports, those related to specific projects, including other regular quarterly, monthly or weekly reports. Responsible for promotional follow‑up, including regular tracking of promotional events, including data mining to determine promotional strategies prior to launch of any promotion. Creates special event report, including NAED meetings, annual supplier relations meetings, regional supplier meetings, individual supplier meetings, etc. Makes dedicated phone calls to branches that are conducting joint sales calls (JSCs) offering assistance, data reports, and assistance with assembling marketing collateral. Communicates and interacts with organization’s field personnel, assisting with supplier related issue resolution, promotion implementation and supplier development. Qualifications

Bachelors’ Degree in business or related required. 1 year required, 3 years preferred of data mining/report creation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written preferred. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines required. Ability to develop presentations and data reports required. Proficiency with PC and MicroSoft Office software packages required. Strong analytical skills required.
