Job Title: Operator - 3rd Shift
We are seeking a dedicated Operator to join our team on the 3rd shift. The successful candidate will operate and maintain fermentation tanks and various food production machinery, ensuring the efficient and safe processing of products.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain fermentation tanks and food production machinery, including packaging machinery, labelers, vats, dryers, and conveyor systems.
Perform sanitation duties to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Weigh and/or count products accurately.
Check in and out materials accurately.
Complete disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.
Print labels accurately and perform minor quality inspections.
Record data of the products being manufactured.
Experience in fermentation, formulation, and sterile processing.
1+ year of experience in food manufacturing and LOTO.
1+ year of experience operating production machinery in a GMP environment.
1+ year of experience in sanitation duties and packaging.
Experience in documentation review and quality inspection.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques.
Essential Skills
Experience in fermentation, formulation, and sterile processing.
1+ year of experience in food manufacturing and LOTO.
1+ year of experience operating production machinery in a GMP environment.
1+ year of experience in sanitation duties and packaging.
Experience in documentation review and quality inspection.
Knowledge of aseptic techniques.

Ability to record production data accurately.

Work Environment Work in a GMP environment within a climate-controlled facility. The 3rd shift operates from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday, with potential voluntary overtime of up to 5 hours. Follow GMP codes, including wearing safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, pants without holes, and using hair and beard nets.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Verona, WI.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
