team, you will drive digital transformation and operational excellence across Sanofi's global tax functions. We focus on implementing cutting‑edge technologies, optimizing processes, and delivering data‑driven solutions that enhance decision‑making capabilities and operational efficiency.

Our team handles key activities including process optimization and automation initiatives, data analytics and AI solutions, digital transformation project implementation, emerging technologies deployment, cross‑functional process excellence coordination, and tax operations modernization.

In the context of our expanding scope and digital transformation journey, this role has been created to support upcoming innovation and process excellence initiatives in the Tax North America team as well as other global initiatives within the Tax Solutions team. Under the Head of Tax Innovation & Process Excellence, this position plays a crucial role in coordinating digital initiatives, implementing emerging technologies, and supporting process optimization.

The role requires technical expertise combined with strategic thinking to deliver impactful solutions while fostering collaboration across diverse teams.

Main responsibilities Digital Transformation & Process Excellence

Support and contribute to complex process improvement initiatives across finance functions

Design and implement innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies

Provide support to business process re‑engineering projects

Develop and maintain governance frameworks

Ensure compliance with internal controls while implementing improvements

Create standardized approaches for process optimization

Data Analytics & AI

Design and implement data analytics solutions to enhance operational efficiency

Develop automated reporting and analysis frameworks

Drive data‑driven decision‑making initiatives

Ensure data governance and quality standards analytical models for process optimization

Coordinate data integration across systems and processes

Management & Implementation

Manage cross‑functional projects

Coordinate stakeholder relationships and communication

Lead implementation of technical solutions

Provide technical mentoring to junior team members

Monitor project deliverables and success metrics

Drive continuous improvement initiatives

About you Education

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

The ideal candidate brings a combination of digital/technical knowledge and foundational exposure to finance or tax environments — whether through academic background, professional experience, or both

Experience

5+ years of combined experience in digital transformation, data analytics, or process improvement, with exposure to finance, tax, or related business functions — whether in a dedicated role or as part of broader responsibilities.

Proven track record in implementing digital transformation initiatives.

Experience in managing cross‑functional projects.

Strong background in process optimization and automation.

Demonstrated success in stakeholder management and change management.

Process improvement and business process re‑engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum)

Project management methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Dataiku

Experience with Snowflake and Power BI

Knowledge of data governance frameworks

Background in tax processes

Familiarity with internal controls and governance frameworks in finance environments

Master's degree in any of the fields listed above
