You will partner with client, country leadership and internal cross-functional teams of subject matter experts to understand, define and build effective solutions that generate measurable business impact for client as well as Collinson. We’re looking for an enthusiastic problem solver with a commercial mindset, that thrives on being engaged at all levels of the assigned project. As a key point of contact for both the Client and internal teams, you will be a pivotal role in the success of every engagement. Key Responsibilities The business solutions director will be responsible for providing strategic consulting to our clients in the Financial Services and Travel Industry on how to enhance the impact of their loyalty programs and elevate their end-customer experience. As part of the process, they will work closely with business development and account management teams and be responsible to train and enable them on best practice, as well as develop relevant market facing solutions. - Work with cross-functional internal and client teams to identify market needs/ opportunities - Align with Product, Data and Tech teams to develop best practise solutions (product/ service) that are right-sized for market/ region - Support and enable internal teams and build capabilities to sell and deliver the solutions - Actively participate in new business opportunities by leading the pursuit response - Provide pre-sales consulting in terms of alignment workshops, program design sessions etc. that accelerate the sales cycle and create a differentiator for Collinson in-market - Possess and demonstrate a full understanding of the client’s business/issues (and industry) and be viewed as the expert advisor both internally and externally - Lead senior level client relationships and client workshop sessions as an articulate and effective host/presenter, further developing your ‘trusted advisor status’ - Develop internal and external thought leadership around loyalty best practices, and future trends - Lead the development of Collinson methodologies and intellectual capabilities, championing internally continuous improvement in how we do things - Lead and mentor team members on loyalty and develop/ grow capabilities across the region Knowledge, skills and experience requiredFinancial Services Experience:1. 10+ years of experience working in financial services 2. Understanding how card CVPs are built. Experience managing credit card P&L is a plus. 3. Demonstrated success in working with data to generate insights and application of insights to opportunities 4. Understanding and experience working on loyalty programs, customer retention strategies etc. (OR) Marketing Experience:1. 10+ years of experience working in CRM and digital marketing agencies or brand loyalty 2. Experience in creating and implementing customer engagement and loyalty strategies 3. Demonstrated success in working with data to generate insights and application of insights to opportunities 4. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and broad understanding of capabilities 5. Experience working with financial service, travel and hospitality brands is preferred - Has the ability to identify key business problems and develop a thorough understanding of the clients business, competitors, end users, etc. - Possess the ability to think conceptually; to logically define information needs, drive fact to findings/insights, lead strategic thinking and create actionable solutions - Expertise in data collection and analysis necessary to complete engagement deliverables, including defining the information needs - Able to effectively manage a number of projects across multiple offerings - Commercial experience in budgeting, cost forecasting, value reporting, pricing - Demonstrate advanced verbal and written communication skills - Excellent English language skills is essentialCollinson Group is a global leader in driving loyalty and engagement for many of the world’s largest companies.
