Roving Leasing Manager
Location:
Dallas, Plano, Frisco, Irving, Texas (travel required between properties)
Compensation $25.00 – $27.00 per hour, based on experience Monthly gas/mileage stipend
About the Role Gaines Investment Trust is seeking an experienced and high-performing leasing professional to join our team as a Roving Leasing Manager. This role is designed for a seasoned leasing professional who can step in and support multiple communities facing staffing gaps, leasing challenges, or performance needs.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who is confident, polished, and proven in their ability to lease, close, and positively impact property performance. This position plays a key role in maintaining occupancy, supporting teams, and driving results across our Texas portfolio.
What You Will Do
Travel between assigned properties in the Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and Irving markets
Lead leasing efforts, including tours, follow-up, and closing
Step in to support communities with staffing gaps or high demand
Help improve occupancy and traffic conversion at underperforming assets
Support and guide onsite leasing teams with best practices and closing techniques
Deliver a high level of customer service and create a strong prospect experience
Assist with outreach marketing and traffic generation as needed
Maintain knowledge of market conditions, pricing, and competitor activity
Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and operational standards
Provide feedback to Regional Managers on property performance and opportunities
What You Will Bring
2+ years of multifamily leasing experience required
Proven leasing performance with strong closing skills
Ability to quickly adapt to new teams, properties, and environments
Professional, positive, and team-oriented approach
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, dependable, and self-motivated
Proficiency with Yardi
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license required
Flexibility to travel between properties based on business needs
