Summer Intern - Product Management (AI Chatbot & Self‑Service) Ingram Micro

Pay Base pay range: $48,200.00 – $77,100.00 per year.

Program Details

10‑week PAID Summer Internship starting June 1st‑August 7th (first cohort) or June 15th‑August 21st (second cohort).

Hybrid schedule at Irvine office; 40 hours per week.

Includes learning & development trainings, executive speaker sessions, and networking opportunities.

Your Role

Analyze chatbot interaction logs to identify customer inquiries and gaps.

Identify missing or incomplete knowledge‑base articles and recommend new content.

Collaborate with Product and Support teams to refine intents, responses, and escalation flows.

Analyze usage of chatbot, support portal, and knowledge base to drive self‑service adoption.

Develop dashboards and reports highlighting performance metrics (containment rate, deflection rate, FAQs).

Research AI and automation opportunities to enhance chatbot capabilities.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university program or recently graduated (within the last semester or quarter). Juniors or seniors preferred.

Data analysis skills – ability to analyze datasets, transcripts, or support interactions to identify trends and actionable insights.

Interest in AI, chatbots, conversational design, or digital customer experience.

Customer‑experience mindset – understanding of how self‑service tools improve the support journey.

Analytical and problem‑solving skills – synthesize information into clear recommendations.

Technical curiosity – familiarity with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or analytics platforms (optional).

Strong communication and documentation ability – translate insights into clear reporting and proposals.
