TEKsystems is partnering with a leading banking organization to hire Bank Tellers supporting multiple branch locations across Maui, including Kahana, Lahaina, Kahului, Wailuku, Kihei, and Pukalani. In this role, you will support daily branch operations by delivering accurate, efficient customer service while adhering to all security, audit, and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
Perform teller transactions in support of daily branch operations
Accurately accept and process customer deposits
Redeem and calculate foreign currency and drafts for deposits
Balance cash drawer and turn in excess cash to the vault throughout the day
Fulfill customer change orders accurately and in a timely manner
Work closely with managers and supervisors to ensure compliance with audit, security, GLBA, and operational standards
Cross‑train in other processing areas as needed
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Customer service experience with the ability to confidently communicate and interact with customers
Strong verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor
Attention to detail with the ability to exercise judgment and discretion when handling confidential information
Experience using a 10‑key adding machine and basic typing skills
Ability to work accurately in a fast‑paced, cash‑handling environment
Entry‑level candidates with strong customer service skills are encouraged to apply
Job Type & Location:
Permanent position based out of Kahului, HI.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $36,000.00 - $42,000.00/yr. Holidays, PTO, good retirement, medical, dental, vision.
