HealthPair Nonprofit is dedicated to empowering youth to be self advocates and take their healthcare experience into their own hands. We support youth and young adults at every step of their journey, preparing them for major transitions such as college enrollment and changes in health insurance.
Position Summary
We are seeking a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Manager to cultivate and expand our presence across our various social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. As our Social Media Manager, you’ll work with our growing Media Team to help young adults navigate the complex U.S. healthcare system by generating engaging, educational, and accessible content.
Key Responsibilities
Manage our social media platforms on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Lead content strategy and scheduling for all social platforms
Create and post short-form videos, graphics, and interactive content, often in partnership with our Brand Ambassador
Engage with our community by replying to DMs/comments and interacting with creators
Track social trends and test new avenues for engagement (Lives, Stories, quizzes, etc.)
Report on analytics and optimize content based on performance
Work with CMO to plan targeted Boosts in alignment with social media budget
Preferred Qualifications
Passion for health equity and youth empowerment
A background/degree in communication, social media management, marketing, or a related field (knowledge of healthcare is a plus)
Comfortable taking initiative and leading content development for a growing nonprofit startup
Prior experience managing social media platforms, specifically Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and so on
Social Media Manager is expected to commit 10-15 hours to HealthPair per week. Please note that the Social Media Manager position is unpaid at this time.
