Job Description

Generate sales results for a specific set of accounts

Travel to Trade Shows and to customer sites in order to meet sales goals

Manage existing accounts, as well as generate new business relationships through prospecting and cold-calling

Responsible for handling large national accounts

Handle the majority of technical questions before and after closing the sales

Sell product to forecast and manage a Key Product Movement

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Engineering

At least 2 years outside sales experience of broadcast equipment

Exposure to large account with long cycle times

Have a solid amount of current industry contacts

Must have sold to the broadcast, telecommunications, and digital signage markets

Be familiar with Video Technologies, such as MPEG, MPEG-2, MPEG over IP, ASI, ATSC, HDTV, RF Satellite, DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting), Digital Communication Systems, CATV, MATV, QAM, OCAP, MMDS, and DTV

Experience attending Trade Shows to generate new relationships

Must be very technically savvy
