Office Manager Marketing Assistant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results‑driven, ambitious, flexible and hands‑on individual to join our team at Berg Compliance Solutions. We specialize in helping manufacturers protect their employees, local community & the environment from harm by building and maintaining environmental, health and safety compliance programs. This hybrid role requires regular weekly office time at our Austin, TX HQ and reports directly to the business owner. You will manage marketing campaigns to generate leads, acquire new customers and retain existing ones, and assist with office management tasks and client onboarding. THE SIX NON‑NEGOTIABLES OF THIS ROLE ARE: Written communication skills . Crafting direct marketing campaigns across email, direct mail, web and social media. Excellent English written skills are required; please provide samples of your previous work. Being tech‑savvy . Comfortable learning new marketing tools and technologies quickly. Daily tools include CRM systems, content management systems, email marketing, etc. Being teachable and coachable . A willingness to learn – we hire primarily on attitude. Being a self‑starter . Identify what needs to happen, when and how; take initiative without micromanagement. DAY‑TO‑DAY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assistant to Owner : Help business owner with various tasks and projects as needed. Outbound Communication to Target Leads : Send, respond to and track outbound emails and LinkedIn messages to our targeted lead list. Marketing Platform Management : Manage and schedule emails, automations and workflows in ActiveCampaign; build email marketing campaigns, sequences and newsletters. Coordinating Marketing Subcontractors : Coordinate, schedule and track with marketing subcontractors to ensure they execute our plan. Create and manage content calendar : Develop a content plan, create, schedule and analyze content. Recruiting Assistance : Support recruitment of “A‑player” consultants, including inbound and outbound outreach. Customer Onboarding : Ongoing customer onboarding & service tasks and assistance. Office Support : Assist consulting staff and business owner with market research, projects, scheduling and coordination. Tracking KPIs : Weekly tracking of key metrics related to marketing activities. TOOLS WE USE: Pipedrive ActiveCampaign Kajabi WordPress Monday.com AI (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) BONUS SKILLS: Bookkeeping Strong : Experience with sales, use/property/unemployment taxes, end‑of‑year tax prep, AP, AR and reconciliation using QuickBooks or similar.
