Role Overview
The Copywriter is an essential member ofourteam,leveragingboth creative and strategic thinking to develop meaningfulcopy andconceptsfor multiple clients and brands.Theyhavea working knowledge ofmarketingandadvertising principlesanda growing understanding of pharmaceuticalmarketing,andapplybothto their work.TheCopywriterwill be able towriteacross a variety of formats,working with care and empathy tocreatematerials that educate and inform patients and caregivers.Theyseekto develop a strategic understanding of theirbrands(product, disease state, audience,market, etc.)and bring creativeideas andsolutions to each project.

The person in this role is skilledat taking direction andguidanceand is adept atexplaining their work tothe internalteamas well asclients. They will be eager for opportunities tolearn andwillengagepositively withthose around them.People whoexcel inthis role are highly empathetic, warm, thoughtful, organized, and excellent communicators.

Responsibilities
ContentDevelopment

Writeacrossformats(digital, print, video, etc.)to create thoughtful, creativecommunicationsthat reflect the brand strategy and project objectives

Workwith medical and editorial teams to gain a comprehensive understanding ofscientific information

Develop clear, compelling, and credible copy, translatingcomplicated scientific information intoaccessibleandaccuratecommunications

Develop innovative,creativeconcepts for brand programs

Understandpharmaceutical regulatory requirements andbe able towork within these confines

Collaborate with designers to deliver work thatconsistentlymeets and exceeds expectations

Regularly presentwork to internaland clientteamsas needed

Preparesubmissions for medical/regulatory approval,includingcompiling referencesandannotatingsubmission pieces

Team

Work withtheinternal team through the content development process to ensure copy meets brand,strategic,and projectgoals

Demonstrateanappreciation for collaboration and partnershipwithteammates

Communicate openly,keepingteam leads apprised ofprogress andbandwidth

Respect timelines and meet deadlines

Experience+ Qualifications

2-5yearsof copywriting experience inpharmaceutical marketing

Writing for healthcare professionals as well as patient/caregiveraudiences is preferred

Adept at managing referencing and annotations for complex program communications

Must be able to meet client and agency timelines and flourish in a fast-paced environment

High sense of empathy

Passion forhelpingpatients andcaregivers that drivesexcellent work above industry standards

Exceptional written and communication skills

Mastery in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat

Samplesof workthat display an ability to write clear, compellingcopy

Includeconceptual and tactical work that shows creative thinking and technical copywriting abilities
