Digital Media and Communications Coordinator Share Share Email Tweet Share OBJECTIVE This position supports digital communications and marketing efforts for both the Iowa Soybean Association (ISA) and the Iowa Food and Family Project (IFFP). The role provides a unique opportunity to engage with both consumers and farmers through websites, email marketing, social media and events. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Adding to website content along with maintaining best SEO and AEO practices. Monitoring digital metrics from Google Analytics, social media platforms, etc. to make meaningful changes to how we reach audiences. Utilize lead/conversion tracking. Upload and format articles, blogs and magazines to the website. Work in close coordination with ISA Digital Media Manager in the planning, scheduling and creation of social media and digital marketing assets to promote events and drive stakeholder participation. Assist the ISA Consumers Insights & Engagement Manager with the creation and scheduling of Iowa Food & Family Project social and digital media content. Ensure key metrics and objectives are determined, tracked and reported for events and key partnerships. Coordinate with Producer Services team to ensure field activities are scheduled and promoted and that registration is completed in a timely and accurate manner. Participate in the planning and execution of ISA’s editorial schedule, including participation in weekly editorial and I&E team meetings. COMPETENCIES Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Proficient at Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere). Experience managing social media while working within a budget. Knowledge of SEO and AEO. Familiarity with website-related tools such as Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console and Google Ads. Experience working with CRMs such as HubSpot or content management tools such as Loomly. TRAVEL/LOCATION This position is based in Ankeny, Iowa. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY This position has no supervisory responsibility REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field. Familiarity with agriculture is a plus.
