Marketing & Communications Intern (Fall 2025) Location : Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce Office (80% on-site) Hours : Flexible within business hours; ~10-12 hours/week | M-Th Reports to : Communications Coordinator Compensation : $500 stipend, paid at the conclusion of the internship About the Opportunity Looking to grow your marketing skills while making a difference in the local business community? The Eden Prairie Chamber of Commerce is seeking a motivated junior or senior high school student to join our team this fall. You’ll gain hands‑on experience in social media strategy, email marketing, and membership communications in a collaborative, professional environment. What You’ll Do Implement and schedule social media content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Google Business using our scheduling platform Learn best practices for platform posting, targeting, and analytics Collaborate with our Communications Coordinator to design engaging email content for members via Constant Contact Analyze social media and email performance to refine future strategies, report findings to the communications committee Support event promotion and other marketing initiatives as needed Who You Are A junior or senior pursuing Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field Interested in non‑profit, membership‑based, or community‑focused organizations A proactive self‑starter who asks thoughtful questions and seeks to grow Detail‑oriented with strong written communication skills Familiar with at least one social media platform for professional use (training provided on others) What Makes You Stand Out Previous internship or school leadership experience in marketing or communications Comfortable with Canva, Constant Contact (or similar), and social media scheduling tools How to Apply To ensure this internship is a strong fit, please submit the following: Resume – highlighting relevant coursework, jobs, and involvement Statement of Purpose answering: Why are you interested in marketing for a membership‑based non‑profit?
