Overview The Key Account Manager is responsible for various account activities within the Etail (Ecomm & Retail) department, with special emphasis on new Etail accounts, Mass multi-channel accounts, and existing Ecommerce/Retail businesses. The Key Account Manager-Etail will collaborate cross-functionally with the existing Etail Team as well as all other internal Business Unit Teams (Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, Business Intelligence, Regulatory, Supply, etc.). Daily activities include, but are not limited to, implementation of Etail strategic initiatives, achievement of sales targets, reporting on Etail metrics, diverter/gray market monitoring, structuring of related accounts’ forecasts, construction of business plans, programs, promotions, etc. The Key Account Manager-Etail will assist in developing creative and profitable business solutions, serving both Vetoquinol and related external accounts, long-term account objectives, and overall customer satisfaction. Essential Functions Key Account Management (eComm/Retail) Develops strategic plans and leads execution for assigned Etail (Ecommerce & Retail) related accounts. Manages related accounts to optimize existing partnerships and exploration of new customers. Creation, maintenance, and implementation of Etail business plans & growth strategies. Explore new business opportunities for multi-channel Ecomm/Retail customers. Creation, collaboration, and monitoring of promotional activities, marketing initiatives, campaign calendars, Etail posts, publication requests, etc. with assigned partnering accounts. Collaboration with Channel Management & Marketing Teams to implement the overall channel strategy & maintain “brand integrity” (content, images, pricing, etc.) across all related platforms. Diverter and Do Not Sell (DNS) list collaboration to monitor & prohibit gray market transactions between multiple business channels. Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) monitoring in collaboration with Etail team. Ensures the preparations and updates on regular sales/purchasing forecasts for related eTail accounts. Regular updates & observance of Business Intelligence reports, CREATIO data, etc. in accordance with established guidelines. Monitors the business environment to stay current on trends, growth objectives, competitive strategies, etc. to best leverage new, innovative partnering opportunities. Maintains knowledge of competitive activities and develops appropriate response strategies/tactics. Compiles and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. related to assigned internal business dealings and external accounts. Completion of monthly summaries and/or business plan updates related to assigned accounts. General/Administrative Supports the company vision and mission and demonstrates the corporate core values in all professional activities. Follows all safety requirements, work rules, and regulations. All other duties as requested by management. This is a remote position that can be performed anywhere in the USA. Up to 50% of domestic/international travel is required to attend company meetings, account meetings, trade shows, retail shows and any other applicable travel requirements. Basic Qualifications Education Four-year college degree from an accredited institution. Preferred business, marketing, retail, Ecommerce, and/or advertising focus. 3-5+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for the educational requirement. Experience Experience and expertise with Retail, Ecommerce, and/or Mass multi-channel accounts. Experience with marketplaces and/or hybrid multi-channel stores (Walmart). Experience with Retail marketing and Ecommerce digital advertising. Direct knowledge regarding Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and experience in MAP implementation. Demonstrated success in growing eTail accounts, eTail brands and targeted eTail promotions. Skills Ability to multi-task while demonstrating strong organizational skills. Effective social skills and strong written/verbal communication. Self-motivated, results driven, and ever evolving mindset regarding Etail (Ecomm/Retail) advancements, digital marketing, multichannel/omnichannel businesses, and analytics. Proper communication internally & externally, including prompt reviews, email replies, & phone calls. Collaborative, welcoming and able to work well in both a team and individual setting. Technologically savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PPT, Teams). Demonstrated analytical skills, public speaking skills, and effective at remote presenting.
