As an Art Director at Arthur Elliott, you are responsible for translating creative vision into high-quality, on-brand execution across client work. You lead visual direction at the project
and campaign level, ensuring design excellence, consistency, and craft across all deliverables.
You are hands-on, detail-driven, and collaborative — guiding designers through concept development, layout, typography, and visual storytelling. You partner closely with Project Management and Account teams to ensure creative work is delivered on time, on brief, and at the highest standard.
This role is focused on executional leadership , not departmental management.

Responsibilities Lead visual direction for client campaigns, brands, and marketing assets across digital and print
Translate creative briefs into clear visual concepts, layouts, and design systems
Ensure all creative aligns with brand guidelines, creative strategy, and campaign objectives
Provide hands‑on design support as needed across key accounts and deliverables
Art‑direct Graphic Designers and Production Designers through feedback, revisions, and refinement
Review creative work for quality, accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specs
Support designers in problem‑solving and elevating their craft
Maintain high creative standards while balancing timelines and scope
Partner with Project Managers to understand timelines, scope, and priorities
Collaborate with Account Strategy to interpret briefs and client feedback
Work closely with Copywriters, Media, and Development to ensure cohesive creative execution
Support creative workflows, file management standards, and version control
Ensure deliverables are production‑ready and meet internal QA expectations
Contribute to evolving design systems, templates, and creative best practices
Qualifications 5+ years of experience in graphic design or visual design, preferably in an agency environment
Strong portfolio demonstrating art direction, brand systems, and campaign execution
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Figma experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and visual hierarchy
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail
Collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred
