Position Description
The Marketing Coordinator supports the execution of the firm’s marketing initiatives by assisting with content creation, event coordination, and social media management. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn about marketing in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. Working under the guidance of the Director of Corporate Services, the Marketing Coordinator helps maintain brand consistency, supports business development efforts, and contributes to overall marketing goals.
This position requires the following at a minimum, responsibilities may evolve over time, and other duties may be assigned as necessary.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities
Updating and maintaining marketing collateral, including project sheets, resumes, graphics and image libraries.
Coordinating social media posts, content creation, and basic analytics tracking.
Helping maintain and update the company website with project content and company news.
Assist planning and participation in industry events, conferences, and recruiting fairs.
Lead planning and execution of internal and external company events.
Coordinating with vendors for printing, promotional items, and event materials.
Supporting email marketing campaigns and newsletter distribution.
Maintaining the marketing database, contact lists, and CRM records.
Conducting basic market research and competitor analysis.
Providing general administrative support to the Corporate Services team.
Qualifications & Competencies
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field preferred; associate’s degree with relevant experience considered.
0–2 years of marketing or related experience; internships or coursework in marketing, communications, or design a plus.
Familiarity with AEC industry is helpful but not required.
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) preferred.
Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools.
Comfort with website content management systems (e.g., WordPress) is a plus.
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Demonstrating willingness to learn about the AEC industry and how marketing supports project delivery.

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds for transporting marketing materials or event supplies.
Ability to travel occasionally to industry events, client meetings, and conferences.
Visual acuity to review documents, graphics, and digital content.
