Overview The Business Development Representative will drive new business growth by identifying, developing and closing sales opportunities within the industrial sector. This role requires a high-energy, self-motivated professional with a proven track record in industrial sales of hard goods such as fasteners, lubricants, packaging materials, metals or plastics. The ideal candidate is comfortable traveling frequently, excels at building relationships, can read tape measures, visualize space and dimensions and apply a mechanical, hands-on mindset to customer needs. Success in this role comes from a combination of technical understanding, strong sales acumen and the ability to close deals while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Responsibilities include identifying and developing sales opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and closing deals within the industrial sector while delivering excellent customer service. Qualifications Proven track record in industrial sales of hard goods such as fasteners, lubricants, packaging materials, metals or plastics. Comfortable traveling frequently. Excellent relationship-building skills. Ability to read tape measures and visualize space and dimensions. Mechanical, hands-on mindset applied to customer needs.
