The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a strong passion for sales. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining key accounts.
Responsibilities
Process all incoming correspondence from customers (JD and all JD related companies)
Provide pricing and product availability to JD and JD related companies
Analyze and accurately execute production orders going into the shop
Work with the shop on scheduling orders and with the shipping so material is delivered in a timely manner
Staying informed of industry pricing and how it affects company sales
Knowledgeable on machine capabilities and requirements to produce product for customers
Communicate with the Outside Sales Staff and be knowledgeable of customer demands and expectations
Maintain awareness in market trends
Assist with EDI (fill in for other JD Sales person when they are gone)
Back up for JD ASN’s
Qualifications
High School Diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
1 - 2 years of Sales, Account Management, or Customer Service
Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints/shop drawings
Adobe Acrobat
Microsoft Office
Paper and electronic file management
Able to work in a fast‑paced environment
Fluent in communication by email, computer, and telephone
Self‑Starter and capable of making decisions/staying on task
Open to learning product and processing knowledge
Desire to succeed
Physical Demands

This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times. Environment is not fully climate controlled.
