Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate food & beverage marketing professional to join our team! The Marketing & Activation Manager supports the ByteDance/TikTok portfolio (three sites); they support, implement and collaborate on all facets of the Bon Appétit brand at ByteDance/TikTok, driving marketing and brand activation efforts that delight our client and dining population.
They will play an integral role on the ByteDance/TikTok team, collaborating with the Image + Style team to craft & implement customer experience initiatives that support strategic priorities, drive satisfaction, increase participation and revenue, and provide education and insight to delight guests and clients. They will work within our brand vision and guidelines to plan and support brand initiatives, leveraging cross‑functional partnerships with field on‑site teams, regional support teams, and Image + Style team. This is a full‑time on‑site role that requires approximately 25% travel to the other portfolio locations in Los Angeles & Seattle.
Key Responsibilities
Activate our brand internally through people programs and externally with customer experience initiatives (WOWs).
Collaborate creatively with the Image + Style team to develop initiatives that enhance our brand and contribute to customer satisfaction and increased participation and revenue.
Utilize the activation toolkit for most efforts and manage small‑scale design projects with our professional design team for account‑specific needs within our brand vision.
Proactively develop recommendations to refresh customer experiences onsite to support account retention.
Utilize the BAMCO help center to support the ByteDance/TikTok portfolio’s needs.
Develop new strategies and tactics for promoting existing or new locations, enhancing sales, customer experience, and satisfaction.
Drive Great Expectations 4 (GE4) brand standards by supporting and inspiring units to implement GE4 tactics.
Guide accounts through building business plans and ensure teams buy in to plan, execute, and report on the impact.
Ensure all content on account sites is relevant and correct, reviewing design, grammar, and Bon Appetit brand voice.
Qualifications
Passion for great food and food experiences, general culinary and hospitality knowledge, and interest in sustainability.
BA or BS in Marketing/Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism preferred.
Minimum 4 years’ marketing, communications, or public relations experience, either in an agency setting or in‑house for a restaurant or foodservice establishment.
Proactive, assertive, strategic thinker capable of capturing growth opportunities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and WordPress.
Experience managing the design process is a plus.
Very strong writing skills, proper grammar and spelling.
Organized, detail‑oriented, process‑oriented, strong self‑motivator, capable of working with minimal supervision and solving problems for the best solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, public speaking, and client interaction.
