Position Overview We are looking for a sharp, creative, and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to support the agency’s internal and external communications efforts across digital platforms. The Communications Coordinator will shape and share the voice of Saylor Agency across social channels, helping to extend our reach, reinforce our brand, and spotlight the work we do and the culture we foster. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, social media-savvy, and comfortable balancing both creativity and execution.
Location and Salary This is a part-time position with a rate of $28-$38 per hour based on experience. This role is based in Los Angeles, CA. There will be occasions when in-office presence at our Echo Park HQ is required based on the needs of the agency.
Responsibilities Manage social media content calendar for Saylor
Participate in brainstorming sessions
Create social-friendly graphics and video in partnership with the Design + Post-Production teams
Draft compelling, on-brand social copy for CM approval
Capture and curate behind-the-scenes content from team events
Monitor agency-relevant conversations and trends
Surface any potential issues or crisis signals to CM in a timely manner
Track and record social performance metrics monthly
Prepare monthly reports summarizing KPIs, content performance, and strategic insights
Analyze performance trends to inform future content planning
Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in a social media, communications, or marketing role (agency experience a plus)
Strong writing and editing skills, especially for social media
Proficiency in Figma (or strong design sensibility with willingness to learn quickly)
Understanding of content best practices for all social platforms, especially Instagram and LinkedIn
Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet weekly deadlines
Passion for storytelling, entertainment, and digital trends
Bonus: familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Later, Sprout, native platform analytics)
