The Senior Product Designer plays a critical role in shaping intuitive, consistent, and scalable digital experiences that support Sonepar’s global business operations. This role combines strategic UX thinking and hands‑on UI execution, ensuring design solutions are grounded in real user needs while directly enabling business outcomes. As a senior member of the Digital Enterprise organization, you will own the end‑to‑end design process for complex, enterprise‑grade products. You will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and global stakeholders to deliver solutions that are not only usable and accessible—but operationally effective, consistent, and aligned with Sonepar’s brand and long‑term digital strategy.
Work Location & Travel
Hybrid role based onsite in Irving, Texas, with regular in‑office presence required to support collaboration, design reviews, and key initiatives. Up to 30% travel to support business needs, stakeholder engagement, and cross‑regional alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic UX & Business‑Driven Design
Lead research‑ and data‑informed design initiatives that solve complex workflow and operational challenges.
Conduct UX assessments, benchmarking, and discovery activities to inform a pipeline of scalable digital solutions.
Translate user insights and business strategy into thoughtful, practical design outcomes that support enterprise efficiency and growth.
Own the full design lifecycle—from discovery and user flows to wireframes, interaction design, and polished visual execution.
Design information‑dense interfaces and enterprise workflows that balance usability, accessibility, and operational requirements.
Ensure designs adhere to accessibility standards and support a diverse, global user base.
Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and global stakeholders across regions and operating companies.
Share work early and often to gather feedback, build alignment, and drive consensus across teams.
Clearly communicate design decisions, challenge assumptions constructively, and influence stakeholders toward effective, user‑centered solutions.
Design System Stewardship & Consistency
Actively leverage, maintain, and enhance Sonepar’s design and brand systems to ensure consistency at scale.
Ensure design standards are applied consistently across platforms, regions, and products.
Contribute to the evolution of shared components, patterns, and guidelines that support long‑term scalability.
Explore and integrate AI‑enabled tools into design workflows to improve efficiency, speed, and design fidelity.
Continuously evaluate and improve design processes, standards, and best practices.
Stay current on emerging UX, UI, and digital design trends relevant to enterprise and B2B environments.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience
5+ years of experience in product design at a senior level; experience in B2B environments and complex enterprise systems strongly preferred.
Proven success designing information‑rich interfaces and end‑to‑end workflows that support operational users.
Demonstrated ability to connect design decisions to business objectives and measurable outcomes.
Design & Technical Expertise
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including design system libraries, Figma Variables, and Auto Layout.
Experience with advanced prototyping and AI‑assisted tools (e.g., Figma Make, Code Connect).
Working knowledge of Dev Mode to support effective developer handoff.
Strong understanding of accessibility standards, usability principles, and responsive design.

Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field required.
Master’s degree in UX Design, HCI, or a related discipline preferred.
Certifications (Preferred)
UX or design certifications (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, Interaction Design Foundation, Google UX).
Accessibility certifications (e.g., WCAG, Section 508).
Agile or product certifications (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
