
Search Marketing Manager

Overview We are looking for a Paid Search Manager to manage search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns for our agency. The Paid Search Manager will manage paid search campaigns on Google and Bing. A successful Paid Search Manager will effectively manage the paid search budget, track campaign performance and optimize ad copy to maximize ROI and drive client traffic. The Paid Search Manager will conduct keyword research, analyze competitor strategies, and execute paid search campaigns from build-out to launch.
Job Responsibilities Run search, performance max, shopping, display and YouTube campaigns
Be an adept problem solver who can identify, diagnose and fix performance issues
Optimize campaigns to meet or exceed client goals and KPIs
Analyze search term data to expand keyword targeting and improve campaign performance
Track and report on campaign budget pacing
Estimate monthly costs and reconcile discrepancies in ad spend
Conduct ongoing keyword and competitive analysis to refine targeting
Have an in-depth understanding of the different bidding strategies within Google Ads and when to use them to maximize campaign performance
Provide the Client Service team with valuable suggestions to improve client performance
Communicate and act as a subject matter expert (SME) in external client conversations
Perform A/B testing on ad copy and landing pages
Run experiments, collect data, and implement insights for continuous improvement
Requirements 3-5 years of paid search experience
Proven experience and success managing paid search campaigns across Google, and Bing
Experience managing paid search accounts with monthly ad spends of over $200k per month
Up-to-date with the latest trends in paid search
Background with all Google platforms such as Data Studio, Suite, Tag Manager
Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics. Looker Studio)
Strong analytical skills and experience generating paid search reports
Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
BS degree in Marketing, a quantitative, test-driven field, or a related field
Agency experience required
Strategy and optimization background with paid search campaigns
