About Continental Marketing Inc. (CMI)
Continental Marketing Inc. is a full‑service marketing and e‑commerce agency with 40+ years of experience helping brands win in retail and marketplaces. Our Marketplace team manages and grows client businesses across Amazon Seller Central and Walmart Seller Center, combining operational discipline, content excellence, and performance analytics to drive profitable growth.
Role Summary
CMI is hiring an Account Manager with strong Amazon Seller Central (3P) and Walmart Seller Center (3P) experience . This role owns the day‑to‑day management of multiple client accounts, ensuring listings stay retail‑ready, inventory stays healthy, advertising is supported with clean inputs, and performance is tracked and improved through structured reporting and continuous optimization.
You should be comfortable running the operational core of a 3P business: catalog management, compliance, inventory and replenishment signals, case management, pricing hygiene, returns/claims workflows, and coordinating fixes quickly when issues arise.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Seller Central (3P) Operations
Own day‑to‑day Seller Central operations for assigned brands: account health monitoring, case management, policy compliance, and issue resolution.
Manage catalog and listing health: new ASIN setup, variations, attributes, category placement, parent‑child structure, suppression fixes, and compliance requirements.
Oversee pricing and offer health: Buy Box drivers, MAP guidance (where applicable), promotions/coupons, and offer troubleshooting.
Support inventory planning and replenishment: forecasting inputs, stranded inventory resolution, restock planning, and stockout prevention.
Manage FBA/FBM workflows as applicable: shipment creation, inbound performance, reimbursement audits, removals, and returns monitoring.
Coordinate brand protection and listing integrity: hijack response, brand registry‑related actions (where applicable), and content governance.
Walmart Seller Center (3P) Operations
Manage Walmart Seller Center catalog workflows: item setup, attributes, taxonomy, content standards, and variant configuration.
Monitor listing and account health: unpublished items, content score issues, performance flags, and case management.
Support shipping and fulfillment workflows (WFS and/or seller‑fulfilled): inbound planning, service levels, cancellations, returns, and defect prevention.
Maintain pricing and offer hygiene: competitive positioning, promo setup, and issue diagnosis when offers drop or suppress.
Performance Reporting and Analytics
Build and maintain accurate recurring reporting: sales, traffic, conversion, ad‑attributed performance inputs, inventory, pricing, returns, and listing health.
Translate performance data into prioritized action plans that improve revenue, efficiency, and operational stability.
Maintain clean documentation of actions taken, open issues, and next steps for internal teams and clients.
Client Communication and Project Execution
Provide responsive, professional client communication with clear updates and strong follow‑through.
Execute projects and special assignments: launches, catalog cleanup, content refreshes, promotion/event readiness, and operational audits.
Coordinate across internal teams (creative/content, advertising, analytics) to ensure Marketplace workstreams are aligned and executed on time.
Requirements
Hands‑on Amazon Seller Central (3P) experience is required (operational ownership, not just observation).
Hands‑on Walmart Seller Center (3P) experience is required (item setup, maintenance, troubleshooting).
Strong understanding of 3P fundamentals: catalog structure, variation strategy, compliance, case management, offer/pricing mechanics, and inventory signals.
Working knowledge of fulfillment models: FBA/FBM and Walmart WFS/merchant‑fulfilled.
Strong Excel skills; ability to create accurate, repeatable reporting (Tableau a plus).
Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable in client‑facing work.
Independently driven with strong time management, multitasking, and problem‑solving skills.
Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and follow‑up habits.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience with Brand Registry, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and content testing.
Familiarity with marketplace advertising inputs and coordination (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect), including campaign hygiene support and reporting inputs.
