About the Role


The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing and Communications Officer (CMCO) to serve as the principal strategist in transforming and elevating the organization's profile, marketing, communications, and creative content. The CMCO will be responsible for creating and implementing an integrated marketing and communications strategy that advances the organization's awareness, program visibility, and reputation. This role involves overseeing all aspects of communications and marketing, including key messages, digital marketing, creative content, media relations, and crisis communications. The successful candidate will also be tasked with ensuring timely, high-quality content in multiple languages, and will be expected to partner with the chief advancement officer to support fundraising goals.

Applicants for the CMCO position at the company should have a proven track record in leading a strategic, integrated marketing and communications function, with a preference for those with experience in international nonprofits. The role requires the ability to translate strategic thinking into action plans, refine the organization's value proposition, and leverage budgets for maximum impact.
