Internship Requirements
Reliable transportation to and from work
Ability to work off hours (nights, weekends, holidays) when needed
Must get college credit for internship
Student must major in broadcast journalism, video production, or other communications degree
Internship is unpaid
Good attitude
Ability to work well and collaborate with others and willingness to learn
Ability to withstand working in elements (heat, rain, snow)
Internship Details
Internship will be well supervised with regular meetings with newsroom or production managers
Internship provides hands‑on learning experiences in real-world scenarios
At the end of the internship, students should have some real-world examples, such as a resume reel, of the work they can do and what they’ve done during the internship
