Overview

Healthy Living is seeking an Assistant Produce & Floral Manager to oversee daily department functions, manage purchasing and vendor relationships, train and lead staff, and support the Produce and Floral Managers with observations and insights. Responsibilities

Support daily operations of the Produce & Floral department, ensuring smooth workflow and organization Lead and supervise staff by training, motivating, scheduling, and delegating tasks Oversee ordering and inventory, including replenishment, backstock, shrink, and vendor communication Ensure accurate and appealing merchandising, including display building, shelf stocking, and signage Deliver outstanding guest service and model high standards for team interactions Monitor sales, margins, and product performance to meet departmental goals Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and compliance with all health standards Participate in hiring and performance reviews alongside the department manager Collaborate across departments and communicate effectively with key internal stakeholders Attend required trainings, meetings, and contribute to department growth initiatives Qualifications

High School Diploma 2+ years of retail leadership experience (grocery/natural foods preferred) Strong knowledge of produce, ordering systems, and inventory management Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays Details
